Romans Haus cherishes a legacy of workmanship and creativity and this Bauformat Kitchen is yet another testimony. We created this designer space for one of our valued patrons in Windsor, Berkshire by merging the best design principles and handpicked appliances and materials. The outcome is obvious – a contemporary kitchen blending aesthetics and function.
We often rely on German kitchens for design inspiration with an overarching objective to create a sleek, minimalistic and timeless kitchen exuding opulence and evoking memories. The Windsor kitchen is one such instance where we, as usual, exceeded our patron’s specifications and expectations. The family’s vision was transformed into a liveable reality through skills and inventiveness, which has been a hallmark of Romans Haus for years now.
Our predilection for German kitchens led us to Bauformat, a specialist German brand with a reputation for design innovation since 1929. Typical of all Bauformat offerings, this kitchen too is a solutions-focused, contemporary space meeting the highest standards in ergonomics and workflow. The cabinetry is plush and tall for better space efficiency and awe-inspiring looks.
A kitchen of such pedigree requires exceptional appliances that gel with the decor and deliver a seamless performance and energy efficiency for years. Bosch appliances fit the bill and hence, were an obvious inclusion. Due consideration to compatibility, function and appeal also went into the choice of sink and tap and we finally zeroed in on Franke, a top brand with a legacy of innovative engineering and outstanding design.
Silestone Worktop is the cornerstone of Windsor, Berkshire kitchen, rendering it contemporary looks and lasting value. The countertop material is revered for some hardy and handsome attributes, making it a staple for designer kitchens globally. Silestone is sturdy, impact resistant, easy to maintain and comes with antimicrobial protection to ward off bacterial build up.
Sunlight was a priority for our patron and we were up to the task. Our designers used expansive windows on the walls and roof to usher in as much natural light as possible without compromising with the decor. The up-lighting and mirrored surfaces were prioritized to create a soothing, welcoming indoor environment where the family can share meals and memories.
